Miss Kayla is a professional dancer, singer, and actor. She began dancing at age 3, moving into the competitive dance world at age 6. Growing up in Durham, Ontario, she developed a passion for the arts over the years, being trained in multiple styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, acro, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Kayla has many years of training under BATD, earning her Associates certification in Jazz and her Acrobatic Arts certification. She is a recent graduate of Sheridan College, earning an Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre.

Alongside choreographing for many schools and being the head choreographer for the Sheridan Competitive Tap and Hiphop Team, Kayla has many stage and screen credits. Recent ones include the TV show My Little Pony: Forever Friendshipas Fluttershy, Ethel in 42nd Street, Little Red Riding Hood in Shrek The Musical (Drayton Entertainment), Tillie Boulter in Anne of Green Gables (Tweed and Co.), Gina Wells in Amélie (Shifting Ground Collective).

Kayla is very excited for another year with the Allegro teaching team and can’t wait to share her passion of dance and teaching with all of her dancers!
