Tara McFarlane

Miss Tara began dancing at the age of 3 and quickly discovered her love for performing, and storytelling through dance. After being a competitive dancer for many years, Tara decided to continued her training at Sheridan College, where she recently graduated from the Musical Theatre program.

Tara has been performing professionally for the past four years and has had the opportunity to be a part of many professional productions; including Jesus Christ Superstar, The Sound of Music (Liesl), Legally Blonde (Assistant Choreographer), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Dance Captain). She has also performed as part of the 2025 Dora Mavor Moore Awards.

Alongside performing, Tara has developed a passion for teaching. She has been at Allegro School of Dance for four years, working with dancers across a wide range of styles and levels. Her experience as both a performer and choreographer allows her to bring a strong focus on musicality, storytelling, creativity, and performance into the studio.

Tara’s goal as a teacher is to create a fun and positive environment where every dancer feels comfortable being themselves, building confidence, and discovering their own love for dance. She is so excited to continue teaching at Allegro and to help inspire and support the next generation of Allegro dancers!
